North America

The US market

Photovoltaic energy is fast developing in the United States driven by conducive government policy and increasingly competitive costs.

The United States is the world’s third largest producer of solar electricity, behind China and Germany.

Our strategy in the United States

The Solairedirect Group has strong development ambitions in the United States, in particular in Texas and California. These states have high levels of sunlight and photovoltaic energy has turned out to be competitive, close to grid parity (i.e. the price of photovoltaic electricity is equal to that of conventional electric power sources).

Solairedirect has completed the construction of its first 26.5 MW solar park in the county of Madera in California.

The Group is multiplying its photovoltaic installations from 10 MW to 100 MW through greenfield phase acquisitions. Solairedirect positions itself on calls for tender for the sale of electricity to suppliers or through bilateral purchasing contracts with industrial clients.
