In India, Solairedirect would like to repeat the success of its business model in France as an integrated player in the upstream value chain of the photovoltaic market. It aims to become the leading independent producer of solar energy in India.
A production plant designed to meet the requirements of the local market needs to be built in the near future and is currently being studied. Solar PV farms and rooftop installations will be produced by Solairedirect in partnership with key market players.
Solairedirect also handles all of the financial engineering involved in coordinating projects.

The Indian government recently launched the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). It is one of the main initiatives that promotes sustainable growth while taking into account the issues of energy security in India and climate change. The programme has set ambitious objectives: 20,000 MW in power-generating capacity between now and 2022.
