Solairedirect France

Solairedirect, an international group founded in France

A unique positioning

Solairedirect sets itself apart with its approach to local government, which is defined by solar power’s extensively decentralised nature and its impact on its surrounding landscape and architecture. Its vision must include the sustainable transformation of the environment, as set out in France by the Grenelle Environmental Forum (Grenelle de l’Environnement).

These projects must be implemented in collaboration with the local communities, government services, public bodies, associations, business and research clusters, etc., together with solar energy business operators due to the increasingly widespread popularity of photovoltaic solar electricity in France.

In France, Solairedirect is the first operator entirely focused on solar electricity. The Group’s objective is to make solar energy, (either on rooftops or in solar PV farms) accessible to all and to make the solar photovoltaic MWh fully competitive in terms of both cost and availability.

Solairedirect has a nationwide presence in its home country.

  • Multi-regional operations with several satellite offices
  • Technical, logistics and quality units
  • A Solar PV farm business based in the South of France

Two complementary packages to make solar electricity available to everyone in France

In its drive to make solar electricity a fully independent energy, Solairedirect has established packages for all types of clients:

Rooftops

  • Small rooftops
  • Large rooftops

Solar PV Farms

solar PV farmsProjects with an indepth approach to landscaping and a moderate environmental impact can achieve self-sufficient, self-generated electricity without producing any greenhouse gases or pollution. Various solar PV farms are already in operation: Vinon-sur-Verdon (4.3 MW), Les Mées (24 MW), Esparron-de-Verdon (13 MW) and St Hilaire du Rosier (6MW) Currently, Solairedirect is the market leader in terms of installed power with more than 120 MW in operation at the end of 2011.

Solairedirect’s global presence

The Group has grown rapidly since 2006 and now has subsidiaries in four continents. Continued expansion into other markets within the Sunbelt is a cornerstone of Solairedirect’s growth strategy.
